Community Relations | Patriot National Bank Newsletter
At Patriot National Bank, dedication towards the community we live and work in goes hand-in-hand with helping to safeguard and grow your hard-earned dollars.
When we opened our first branch in 1994, our founders had a vision of a neighborhood bank, actually created to serve the needs of its neighborhood; residents and business people alike. That founding principle of putting our customer and community first still drives us today.
Patriot team members embrace this effort and reinforce it on a daily basis. You're likely to see your Patriot Banker, working right alongside your neighbors; volunteering at the community center, coaching Little League, serving on the board of a local charity, and walking or swimming for a cause.
We hope you'll join us in supporting the very worthwhile organizations below that have become a part of the Patriot family.
Disabled Americans Veterans Organization, Connecticut
This non-profit group provides programs and assistance free of charge, enabling disabled veterans and their families to restart and reshape their lives as civilians. Patriot has established an on-going relationship with the Veterans, coordinating efforts to help them raise needed funds to provide transportation to and from their Rocky Hill hospital facility.

The Bridgeport Bluefish
Members of the Atlantic League Professional Baseball Clubs, the team plays 72 home games a season featuring baseball's equivalent to Double-A Standards. Their stadium, The Ballpark at Harbor Yards, has provided a place for everyone to enjoy family-based sports and entertainment as well as paving the way for revitalization and progress in the city of Bridgeport. The Bluefish also join with corporate partners to sponsor programs that serve the needs of the community. Patriot is proud to once again be a corporate sponsor for the 2008 season. We are implementing a "Banking in the Classroom" program in conjunction with the Bluefish's Reading Program. This successful on-going program has impacted 28,000 elementary children in 69 schools and libraries throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties. Visit their link at www.bridgeportbluefish.com.
